Week of February 12 Parent Newsletter

This Week:

  • This is our last week of school at UCA 1.0!

  • Faith Formation Day | Thursday, February 15, 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM

    • Faith Formation day is coming up on Thursday, February 15th! This year will look a little differently than previous years. In the book of Mark, Jesus is portrayed as a suffering servant. He did not come to be served but to serve. As followers of Jesus we are called to imitate him. It is vital we set aside time to serve just as he did. Here are the following details that you need to know:

      1. Students should arrive at school on Thursday by 8:30 AM.

      2. Students should come to school with clothes they are comfortable getting dirty, that are warm, and that they can work in.

      3. Students should bring extra cash for lunch. Each class will be stopping for either breakfast (before they serve) or lunch (after they serve). $15 should be more than enough for food.

      4. Students will arrive back at school between 2:00-3:00 PM. From there they are dismissed and free to leave. We will let students know when to contact you for pickup. Students will be allowed to stay until normal end of day hours which is 4:15 PM.
