Faith Formation Day | February 15
In the book of Mark, Jesus is portrayed as a suffering servant. He did not come to be served but to serve. As followers of Jesus who are called to follow Jesus and imitate him, it is vital that we set aside time to serve just as he did. Faith Formation Day this year will take on a new look. Instead of a day on campus, each class will be sent out to serve in a multitude of capacities.
Each class, with an assigned group of teachers, will arrive at school by 8:30 AM, where we will have a brief opening session. Then groups will depart in many different directions. They will arrive at their assigned destinations where they will serve and work for most of the morning/early afternoon. After the morning is done serving, the class will pick a place to stop for a late lunch while heading back to school. Once back at school, students are free to leave.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Mr. Sons at asons@weareuca.org.
No School, Faculty Institute | February 16
No School, President’s Day | February 19
