Looking Ahead:

  • Tuesday, May 23 - Friday, May 26 | Senior Class Trip

    • Seniors will be leaving for Wisconsin Dells on Tuesday, May 23rd right after Block B. We will be taking two 15 passenger vans, as well as Mrs. Veldboom’s van for the luggage. Mrs. Veldboom will send an example packing list next week. If possible, try to bring bags that can squish down rather than huge, hard suitcases. We will be returning on Friday, May 26th at 9:00 P.M. after a day at Six Flags Great America.

    • Final payment for the class trip is due next Monday, May 15th. Please contact Mrs. Veldboom with any questions.

  • Monday, May 29 | Memorial Day - No School

  • Wednesday, May 31, 9:00 A.M. | Senior Awards Breakfast (REMOTE Learning Day for 9th-11th grade)

    • In keeping with the tradition started last year, we will celebrate our seniors with a special awards breakfast on Wednesday, May 31 at 9:00 A.M. Every senior is allowed to bring 2 special guests with them. We highly encourage every senior to be accompanied by at least 1 adult representative for this breakfast. Several UCA awards will be distributed at this breakfast and our Valedictorian & Salutatorian will be honored with cords and a medal. The dress code is semi-formal.

    • As we did last year, 9th-11th grade students will have a REMOTE learning all day on the 31st to allow for all faculty & staff to be present with seniors.

  • Wednesday, May 31 | Graduation Rehearsal

    • Immediately following the conclusion of Senior Awards Breakfast and a boxed lunch, all seniors will travel to UCA 2.0 for mandatory Graduation rehearsal. Seniors are allowed/encouraged to bring a change of clothes for rehearsal. We anticipate being done with rehearsal by no later than 2:00 P.M., at which point seniors will be dismissed for the day.

  • Thursday, June 1, 8:30 A.M. | Celebration of Learning (Last Day of School)

    • As has been our custom for the past two years, the last day of school for 9th-11th grade students will be our Celebration of Learning. In the morning, we will hold an awards ceremony in the gym, passage ceremony in the sanctuary, then departmental exhibitions of learning throughout the building. In the afternoon, we will gather at Veterans Memorial Park (160th Place & South Park Avenue, South Holland) for an all-school family cookout.

  • Friday, June 2, 10:00 A.M. | Graduation

    • This year’s Commencement Ceremony, celebrating the Class of 2023, will be held in the sanctuary of our new campus at 700 E. 170th St., South Holland, IL.

    • Every senior will receive fifteen (15) tickets. Tickets will be distributed this month.

Tuition and Re-enrollment:

  • Click here to review again UCA’s 2023-2024 Tuition Model.

  • Applications for tuition assistance are due on the 10th of every month.

  • While UCA's 2023-2024 budget will include a significant investment in tuition assistance, there will be a limit. It is not guaranteed that families will receive tuition assistance. Applying sooner will make it more likely that tuition assistance is available.
