Course Registration Days
Course Registration Days are this week! Unless unavailable, all UCA students must visit campus during their designated time blocks below.
Thursday, August 3

1:00pm-4:00pm | Freshman Course Registration
You will receive an email with the 2023-2024 Academic Catalogue with course descriptions in the next few days.
Students will meet with an adviser for approximately 15 minutes to pick their 2023-2024 classes. Their adviser will counsel them on which courses to select in order to stay on track with UCA’s graduation requirements.
Students will be provided with a copy of their unofficial transcript and UCA’s graduation requirements.
When students arrive, they can take a seat in the gym until their class adviser is ready to meet with them.
If you know that your student will not be available during these two days, please send an email to Mrs. Veldboom, Head of Operations (aveldboom@weareuca.org) as soon as possible to schedule another time to register for classes.

Parent Orientation
Parent Orientation is one of the most important nights of the year. It is required that all UCA parents (new and returning) attend. Students are not required to attend. Please mark your calendar for Thursday, August 10 at 6:30 P.M. During this event, we will share important news and announcements for the upcoming year, and break into rotating small groups to review policies and details from the Community Handbook. If you will not be available to attend the Parent Orientation, please email Mrs. Veldboom as soon as possible.
If you are a NEW family to UCA, we invite you to come one hour before Parent Orientation starts at 5:30 P.M. for our New Family Dinner. This event is a great opportunity to be welcomed into the UCA community and meet other new families. If you will not be available to attend the New Family Dinner, please email Mrs. Veldboom so that we can prepare an accurate food count.
freshman & transfer Launch
SAVE THE DATE: Freshman & Transfer Launch will occur on Friday, August 11 and Monday, August 14. Launch is an opportunity for new students to build relationships with one another and get acquainted with UCA before classes start.

First Days of School
The first day of school is Tuesday, August 15. This will be a Deeper Learning Day. Details will be shared soon. The first day of class is Wednesday, August 16.
