Learning session with officer norris:
Please read the following letter from Mrs. Smith regarding an important learning session occurring on Thursday, November 16.
Dear Parents,
At UCA, we care deeply about your student's well-being, health, and safety. We know that vaping, marijuana, social media, and inappropriate photo sharing have become popular in schools across the country.
In an effort to be proactive and help protect our UCA community, we have invited Officer Megan Norris from the South Holland Police Department to discuss these delicate matters with our student body and to provide education surrounding these increasingly popular issues.
There will be 3 separate sessions for 9th, 10th and 11th graders on Thursday, November 16 during the day.
If you have any specific questions and concerns, please feel free to contact our Dean of Students Mrs. Smith at msmith@weareuca.org. Thank you for your partnership.

service opportunities:
Angel Tree Service Opportunity | 'Tis the season for giving! This year, UCA is partnering with a local organization to provide gifts to children and families in need. Help brighten someone's Christmas this year by buying them a gift! Starting Tuesday, November 14, there will be name tags on a Christmas tree with a person in need of a gift. Grab a name tag, sign up for the person you chose, and go shopping! The usual price spent is $15 and under. All gifts are due back to school by Tuesday, November 28. If you would rather make a donation to the cause instead of a gift, please pay in the Main Office. Thank you!
Tissue donations | If you are willing to donate tissue boxes, please bring them to Ms. Pointer in the Main Office.
winter jam:
UCA’s annual winter retreat is approaching and we are going back to Silver Birch Ranch in Wisconsin for Winter Jam!
