Deeper Learning Day | October 18, 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM
This is a day of school. Attendance for this day goes toward your student’s normal attendance records. Please note: seniors do not have to attend this day since they are currently in their Internship quarter.

The Out of the Darkness Walk is this Saturday! Follow this link to learn more and sign up! Please note that there are 2 sign up links: 1 for the walk, and 1 to sign up for UCA transportation to and from the walk!

School Picture Retakes | October 24
If your student was absent on Picture Day or if you would like your student to retake their school picture, they should come prepared on October 24 to take a new photo.
Open House | October 25, 6:00-8:00 PM
Do you know any families that would make a great fit at UCA? Invite them to our first Open House of the year! They will tour the school and receive information about applying to and enrolling at UCA.
UCA Work Day at the New Building | October 28
We have booked the Village of South Holland tool trailer from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM on Saturday, 10/28. Our job is to tame some of the overgrown bushes, trees, and weeds around UCA's new church building. Lots of equipment will be provided but more will be welcomed.
Beverages and snacks will be provided.

Driver’s education:
Parents who signed up their son/daughter for Driver's Ed should have received an informational letter with a payment plan as well as a form to sign two weeks ago. Please submit this as soon as possible! If you did not receive this, please reach out to Mrs. Veldboom at aveldboom@weareuca.org as soon as possible. Thanks!
Lunch:
If your son or daughter would still like to order lunch for the dates of Oct. 16 through Oct. 31, please turn in your orders by today! Please also make sure all payments are up to date.
