Curriculum Night | September 7, 6:00 P.M.
Join us for our next mandatory parent meeting! UCA approaches teaching and learning in a unique and intentional way. The purpose of Curriculum Night is to help you understand who is teaching your students, what your students are learning, and how your students are learning. During Curriculum Night, you will receive answers to these questions, rotate through your student’s schedule, and get to meet your student’s teachers!
Raise Right “Getting Started” Boot Camp | September 7, 5:30 P.M.
Do you have questions about RaiseRight, UCA’s gift card-based tuition reduction program? Arrive to Curriculum Night at 5:30 P.M. to participate in the Raise Right “Getting Started” Boot Camp. If you are unable to attend at 5:30, you can have your questions answered at the end of Curriculum Night.

Phoenix Golf Outing | September 14
It’s time once again to tee off for Unity Christian Academy! September 14 will mark our 4th Annual Phoenix Golf Outing, which has helped our athletics and co-curricular programs expand and grow in recent years. Find more details on how to register here.

School Picture Day will happen on September 22! Seniors will also take their senior class photos on this day. See the flyers below for information on how to order school pictures.

Bond Week is coming to UCA at the end of September! If you would like to donate food or supplies to the Bonfire or the 90s-Themed Dance, please sign up here.
Lunch opportunity:
In addition to our daily lunch provider, we are happy to announce that students can order a Chick-Fil-A lunch this Thursday, September 7!
This is an optional lunch opportunity. If interested, students should sign up and pay the $10 fee by 8:30 A.M. on Thursday, September 7. Payments and sign ups will be received in the front office.

Soda Sip and Paint | September 28, 6:00-8:00 P.M.
Bring out your inner Picasso! We will supply the soda and the art supplies necessary to create a display-worthy masterpiece. No experience needed - we supply you with step-by-step instructions as we paint! You will bring your masterpieces home with you.
Event Details: $20 sign up fee per family (cash in front office, Cash app or Venmo - see sign up form for account details)

Parent Dine & Dive: Navigating Hard Emotions with My Teen | October 4, 6:00-8:00 P.M.
Teens experience BIG emotions - how should we respond? Fix it? Change it? Listen to it? All of the above? After everyone dines in fellowship together, we will dive into discussing and learning new ways to support young people in these conversations. Content presented is being adapted from the book The Emotional Lives of Teenagers by Dr. Lisa Damour.
Event Details: No sign up fee, BYOD: bring your own dinner!

Schoology:
Your student should have taken home directions and a unique code for you to create a parent Schoology account. This will give you access to your student’s online Learning Management System (LMS), assignments, and grades.
