This Week:

  • Tuesday, December 6, 3:30-5:30 P.M. | Senior Fundraiser Pick Up

    • If your senior student sold pies or holiday food last month, tomorrow is pick up day! Remember, pies must be stored frozen. UCA does not have any extra room to store anything bought from the fundraiser, so please have your son/daughter or a family representative come to pick your items up on time tomorrow.

  • Saturday, December 10, 5:00 P.M. | Boys Basketball Game against Southland College Prep

    • Updated 12/6/22: Due to a scheduling conflict on Southland’s end, the location and time of this game has been changed to the South Holland Community Center (501 E 170th St, South Holland, IL 60473) at 5:00 P.M.

Next Week:

  • Friday, December 16, 12:30-3:30 P.M. | All School Outing

    • Next Friday, December 16, we will hold an all school Christmas outing in the afternoon. The details are being finalized and will be communicated via email and text message before the end of this week.

  • Wednesday, December 21 | Module 3 Ends

  • Thursday, December 22, 2022 - Wednesday, January 4, 2023 | Christmas Break

  • Thursday, January 5, 2023 | School Resumes & Module 4 Begins

  • Friday, January 6, 2023 | Boys Home Basketball Game

    • This will be a “white out” game (fans wear all white). Special T-shirts with the name of our newly student-voted upon cheering section, “Purple Rain,” will be sold.

  • Saturday, January 7, 2023, 7:00-10:00 P.M. | Winter Formal

    • Our second dance of the school year, Winter Formal, will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 7-10 P.M. (the Saturday after we return from Christmas break).

    • The dance will be held at Calvin Christian School in their gymnasium (528 E 161st Pl, South Holland, IL 60473).

    • Tickets will go on sale THIS WEDNESDAY! Tickets are $28/student. This includes refreshments and a professional DJ.

    • This time, tickets may only be purchased via CASH or CHECK (no CashApp this time). We will send reminders about ticket sales as the dance approaches.

    • As with previous dances, students are allowed to bring a date, but it is not required. One outside guest per student may attend as well. Email Mrs. Veldboom for a guest permission slip.

    • This is a formal dance. Students should “dress to impress” (suits, dresses, ties, etc.). If you have any questions about attire, talk to Mrs. Veldboom.
