Parking Lot:

  • The safety of all UCA students is a top priority. It is necessary for all parents and drivers to adhere to the following parking lot rules. If you are not the primary driver of your student(s), please pass these guidelines along to the one(s) who is:

    • Keep speed to 10mph or less.

    • Enter at the south entrance, exit at the north entrance.

    • Form one line for drop-off/pickup. For pickup, drivers who arrive first should pull up far enough for other cars to line up behind them. Drivers who arrive after the line has been formed should enter the existing single line.

    • It is not permissible for drivers to pull out in front of another vehicle to drop their student off, nor to get ahead of another vehicle. The only time a driver should move around another vehicle is if: (a) they are in the middle or back of the pickup line, (b) the student has already entered the driver’s vehicle, and (c) the driver is slowly pulling out to exit the parking lot.

Scholarship Opportunity for juniors & Seniors:

  • The message below is from Amanda Aumueller of Trinity Christian College:

“My name is Amanda and I am the Event Coordinator for the Admissions Office at Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights. I am emailing to invite the junior and senior students from your school to participate in the Trinity Arts Experience happening next week on November 11-12th. The Trinity Arts Experience is an event for those interested in pursuing music, art, or theatre in some capacity while in college. Students will have the opportunity to not only learn more about these programs at Trinity, but will also take a trip downtown to see how we connect our students to the arts in Chicago! Theatre students will get a behind the scenes tour of the Court Theatre, Music students will attend the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Concert, and students interested in Art or Design will visit a few different artist studios. While attending the event, senior students will also have the opportunity to apply for scholarship in any of these subject areas!

Students can learn more and sign up at www.trnty.edu/tae or you can feel free to give them my contact information! I can be reached via email at Amanda.Aumueller@trnty.edu or by phone at 708.239.4723.”
